¿Te imaginás que en lugar de “I have a dream“, Martin Luther King hubiera dicho “I have an objective”? ¿Te imaginás el impacto si hubiera dicho “I have a proposal”, o “I have data that…”, o “I have a plan…” Posiblemente coincidás conmigo en que no habría logrado todo lo que detonó con su famoso discurso.
Así como lo es hablar de amor, en los negocios pareciera etéreo hablar de sueños. Es para reflexionar que así sea, y por esto, creo que tenemos que insistir hasta la saciedad en la importancia de soñar. Los sueños son de los soñadores, y esos, solo sueñan, dirán algunos que prefieren un plan de trabajo para lograr un objetivo.
Sin embargo, si aceptamos que todo ha sucedido al menos dos veces: una en la imaginación, y otra en la realidad, podríamos entonces coincidir en que soñar es absolutamente vital, como respirar o dormir. Tengo mil sueños, y en lo nuestro, la publicidad, las marcas, los ejecutivos y los creativos, las ideas y la competencia, es aún más necesario soñar. Para soñar, mejor hacerlo en grande que así llegamos más lejos. Por esto, yo sueño en un país brillando por años con su talento creativo, con agencias publicitarias formidables y con carácter, alcanzando niveles competitivos tales, que se nutren del negocio en los más grandes mercados, y por tanto, generando utilidades y riqueza relevante. Sueño con una comunidad creativa que pase de hablar del YO al NOSOTROS, y que de sueño a realidad pase poco tiempo.
En mi país sueño con una nación desarrollada y equilibrada, movida fuertemente por la empresa privada como generadora de realizaciones, concretas, tangibles y sostenibles. Sueño con una sociedad sensible para tender la mano al que menos tiene, y muy especialmente, que logremos proveer de condiciones para que nadie viva la humillación del hambre, de la ignorancia, de la miseria.
Soñar despierto es una idea para practicar diariamente. Tenemos que soñar y creer que “Nada es Imposible”, porque cuando ya nadie lo puede, Dios lo puede todo.
