Not a single Tribu piece entered the Pregonero, due to a collective decision made inside our agency. We decided that we would not participate this year, simply because we were not ready with the festival creative material that is needed, because we preferred not to trick for the Pregonero and because we did not want to participate in one or two categories. We simply decided to let it go. Because well, everything happens
For these reasons, I want to make it clear that our absence in this year’s contest is not a reflection of anything other than the above. For this time, we prefer to be witnesses and not protagonists, to applaud without expecting to be applauded, to celebrate the festival, the night and the moment. It will be a different experience to be there, in that night of Pregoneros, without any pressure and with all the time to enjoy.
For La Nación, our sincere admiration for the oldest and most respected award for decades, for its commitment to stimulating creativity and most especially, our effusive congratulations for 60 years of uninterrupted success. Our absence from the 2006 Pregonero is entirely circumstantial and therefore, we trust we will be ready for a massive participation next year.
To all the participants in the Pregonero of this November 2 night, best of luck, may the best win and may the creativity of our country win.
