I am surprised. In October alone, this blog received 5,739 page views from 690 different servers. The most read article in the month has been the one titled “Truchil, a new and …” with more than 800 visitors, second “It is preferable not to truchar” with more than 400, and then the one about “We do not participate in the Pregonero…” with about 300 in just a few days at the end of the month.
Among the most read are also the one referring to our dear friend Luciano Cisneros, God bless him, Aguacate, Pura Vida and Pipasa. Particularly in the latter, it is worth mentioning the manifest displeasure of the owners of the aforementioned company, which caused Tribu to lose, in commercial retaliation, the campaign for the National Chamber of Poultry Farmers that had been assigned to us weeks before. (By the way, I added a commentary on this matter in the article referred to). In other words, the effects are both positive and negative. Like everything else.
For what it is worth, the blog is a new figure that comes to us with the Internet. It gives us the opportunity to share and access thousands of people in an instant, or millions if that is the case. What used to be the exclusive territory of the media is now accessible to anyone. That’s great! Great!
Indeed, the consumer is taking control and as human beings, we now have resources that seemed impossible before. For example, the transparency in prices that the Internet has brought us, the quantity and quality of information allows any product or service to be properly scrutinized, the resources available are countless, and among them, this small and powerful figure: the blog.
The truth is that I don’t know how long I will continue with this experiment, or how it can evolve. However, I am enjoying it very much and I think I will continue for a while longer. So… Do you have any ideas to share? Don’t take another second to let me know! Let’s make it happen.
I have discovered the power it has and the immediate way it connects us. This is very interesting, and as for the number of visits reached in a month, simply amazing.
Will we still see you around?
