El Volcán 2006 has a marked stamp, and it is precisely that of Mauricio Garnier. As president of the festival this year, Mauricio imprinted his style and personality, his commitment and passion, his people skills and gentlemanliness. Mau, congratulations and thank you from the bottom of my heart, the Volcano is better thanks to you.
Volcán 2006 would not have been possible without Lilly González, Executive Director of ASCAP, the Costa Rican association of advertising agencies. Lilly is an engine like you can’t imagine, with an impressive capacity for personal and collective organization, self-management, delegation and responsibility that makes it possible for a Volcano to happen without everything else in Ascap falling down. Lilly, thank you is a huge word for you. You are a volcano of energy and achievement.
The Volcano 2006 is possible thanks to the national and international jury, to Manolo Gavilán as Prosecutor, to Post Data, for lending the room for the inscriptions, to La Terminal, for the videos and screens, to the agencies JWT and Garnier BBDO for the campaign of the Festival, to the Uveritas for lending us their auditorium Roberto Sasso Rojas, to Porter Novelli in public relations, to :CAMedia for their efforts to the Hotel Ramada Herradura, to Maritza Garro from Tribu for her support to Lilly and to “Se Fue A La China” for their support, to the Media that broadcasted the campaign, to Anastasia Mora for the production of the event, to Teletica for the recording of the Volcano and future broadcast of the awards ceremony. Finally, I would not fail to mention the appreciation and thanks to each of the partner agencies, as you make ASCAP possible. Thank God and of course, thanks to all who participated with their talent and creativity. In Volcán 2006 there will be winners, however, there will not be a single loser. We all won.
