Marcela Pacheco is in Buenos Aires, igniting her advertising creativity with Brother, which indicates to me that the experience of that school of creatives in Costa Rica was positive and challenging. Truth be told: some were uncomfortable because of a delicate epidermis, and others because their expectations were different. On my part, although mine were also different, the shaking of floors, the pinching of egos and the heated discussion it provoked, paid for the effort and the risk taken. In fact, the debate was a great moment of the SuperSchool Weekend and the creative exercise a positive preamble for our Young Creatives at the next festival in Cannes. In addition, Brother broke new ground and now comes La Escuelita in June.
Although there were many who were not satisfied with the Superschool, others more focused on looking at the glass half full, chose to take the good and even continue their process of preparation and creative development, and for this, as an example is Marcela Pacheco, who left Publimark to get on a plane and then go to Brother in Buenos Aires.
With her permission, here is the e-mail she sent me a few days ago:
Hello Jorge, I hope you are very well, look I tell you, my name is Marcela Pacheco (the girl who was an editor at Publimak who left with the scholarship to Brother Buenos Aires), and I was writing to thank you and Lily because without you I would not have lived this experience.
I’ve been here for a month now, and I can tell you that the classes are very good, the teachers have an excellent creative level, and each class is a great challenge to keep improving myself. Next week the seminars organized by the creative director of Del Campo Nazca will start, which promises a lot, I hope so.
Well, I was just writing to thank you and tell you how everything is going here, I hope you can thank Lily for me, since I couldn’t get her address.
I received a big hug, and if you need anything else, we will be in touch.
Excellent initiative, Marcela, thank you very much for your message and indeed, very encouraged by your experience. Thank you for sharing it, and I hope you keep us tuned to your channel. We love to know that this weekend triggered in you a process that now has you directly connected to one of the most creative cities in the world of advertising.
Shine, Marcela, shine!
