At Tribu we made the decision to become a PPO, a Peak Performance Organization, and focus on effectiveness, in the consolidation of a team determined to grow in all areas, in an integrated and synergic way. For this reason, we hired Franklin Covey and we have turned headlong into an orderly, sequential and systematic process for the acquisition of habits for effectiveness and the creation of a culture conducive to the highest productivity, in the context of our creative approach and for creating Lovemarks.
In this process, it is worth mentioning a special thanks to Otto Peraza, from Franklin Covey Costa Rica, who leads this change management that began in November of last year and that we estimate will continue throughout this year. The road is not easy and in many ways, it means changes in the way we do things, with the firm purpose of creating value and achieving the business sustainability we desire.
We are transforming Tribu in all its aspects, because dreams are big and ambitious, because we owe it to ourselves to strive for the maximum and the best, because we cannot be conformists and because to compete today, we have to be world class.
In these videos, the basic concepts are exposed by Stephen Covey. I recommend you not to be swayed by the age of the videos, their old-fashioned look and Covey’s preachy style that may make some people uncomfortable. Focus on taking his message and concentrating on the essence of his powerful ideas, because we have to accept the price of success, and place talent on a foundation of discipline and habits focused on effectiveness.
At Tribu we are convinced that this process will help us greatly to reach our maximum potential, both as a company in its focus on profitability, creativity and competitiveness. We want to be a PPO, and for that, we are paying the price.

Franklin Covey is an impressive company, with a worldwide presence and an inexhaustible variety of top-notch resources. I highly recommend exploring his conceptual approach, tools and conditions, as well as diving into his published books, available in Spanish.
In the beginning of the process at Tribu, we felt a kind of training feeling for encyclopedia salesmen. Then perhaps appropriate for a pharmaceutical, multinational or financial company, but not creative. Then we feared the possibility of an excess of structure, methodology and sequence.
Today, however, despite initial concerns, we see a formula that will make an enormous contribution to our quest for a PPT, a Peak Performing Tribe on a sustained basis for many, many years to come.
