Yesterday we met Patrick Henry Hughes and his dad. When you meet limitations like that live and in full color, a little me jumps on your shoulder and yells at me: Do you realize? Do you see all you’ve got? Stop whining, you animal!
In the picture below you can see Patrick up close, feel his tenderness and intelligence. When we talked to him, his extraordinarily well pronounced Spanish never ceased to amaze us. Pure energy and motivation, even though he was born without eyes and with a malformation that put him in a wheelchair irremediably.
Pure inspiration is what Patrick and his dad, pictured below, give us. And it makes us think how much it is up to us to inspire at every step, wherever you are, because it is by igniting our emotions that we achieve the best. With passion, and I learned in these last three days… compassion too.
