Next Thursday night, this and many other questions will be cleared to be part of our history. There were 31 jurors invited to evaluate all the material entered and of which 27 in total responded in full.
The process towards next Thursday night continues at full pressure per hour, while the time passes at full voltage to achieve so much detail carefully attended and fulfilled. Next Thursday’s Volcano boasts a record turnout in participating pieces, as well as the quantity and quality of the creative qualifiers. The Volcanoes will be recorded by Teletica and in a week’s time will be broadcasted nationwide.
Tomorrow, Wednesday, the jury in the country will validate the results received from all over Ibero-America and will assign their endorsement after a careful review of the finalist materials. Tomorrow’s El Pellizco at the Uveritas will be an opportunity to focus on creativity and how to hunt lions, as well as a way to share even more and achieve more concentration of visions.
Throughout this process, Lilliana Gonzalez, ASCAP’s executive director, is once again the hub and engine of Volcan. Her spectacularly effective and committed work would take a team of 5 or more people, were it not for the fact that she reiterates her energy and ability to make everything happen down to the last detail. Costa Rican advertising is in Lilli’s debt, and no thanks will ever be enough. Thank you Lilli!
See you at the Volcano, where we will all win. Those who win statuettes and those who don’t, because it will be a step forward and in the right direction.
