I laughed my ass off at this London Marathon commercial, because they couldn’t have represented better the condition we non-athletes end up in after running the 42.2 kilometers of this competition. I still remember that next day after the first one I ran in Chicago, so the characters in the commercial just make me connect with those pains as if it was yesterday.
I imagine that Rafael Abreu, today in Monterrey, Mexico, is already mentally prepared for that day after, since he sent me yesterday the link to this commercial and a few weeks ago, also a tempting invitation to run a marathon in early April. So just for the record, Rafa, I already signed up and I am also prepared for whatever comes after the 26.2 miles, which sounds less.
Cheers!
