A thousand thanks to Dirk Stammes for the invitation to this tremendous annual Leo Burnett party in Cannes. Last night we were there, I made a few clicks, we toasted to your health and decided to share some pictures with you… so you can invite us next year and come too!
(Meanwhile, Warren Marenco and Gato, both from BBDO, enjoyed their cousins’ party at DDB, also a house thrown out the window, and the Young Lions went to the party sponsored by the great Times of India newspaper).
A few hours before the final awards, we are all anxious to know the winners in Film, Titanium and Integrated, as well as the Palm D’Or for Production Company of the Year and to applaud Procter Gamble as they receive their award for Advertiser of the Year at Cannes. Agency of the Year is also expected, with a very good chance for BBDO NY, if HBO receives even more awards today, which would also mean that BBDO could repeat as network of the year. We’ll see.
For Saatchi Saatchi as a network it is very important to move forward with the finalists in film, especially to be able to meet the goal of always being in the top three of the festival.
So it’s going to be a great night tonight, Saturday June 21st, and of course, we’ll be uploading something else to the blog to complement it.
