Today I received an email from a blog reader who did me the favor of directing me to the Modernista site, as he thought it was an excellent idea for this site, in combination with those of Tribu and its affiliates. Thank you, José, because you are right that the application is very nice, relates spaces and combines experiences in an intelligent way.
After reviewing this option, I invite you to visit the Skittles website, as it will present you with a similar application although visibly with even more resources than those found in Modernista. The effect and reaction, the experience it generates and its cheerful proposal, presents us with a case to learn and grow, because it is time (not a short time ago) to integrate and add without any contemplation to the formulas of the past.
Social networking, new media, 2.0, whatever we want to call the path, for those who need labels, puts on the screen with cases like Skittles or Modernista, among many others around the world, the new vision that intertwines what has been separate, to create an interaction that synergizes and enhances the reach of any message.
Personally, because these are experiments and explorations, I have not wanted to integrate my Facebook updates with my Twitts, for example, nor have I wanted to bring Twitter to my blog, just to cite a couple of links, although we did post a link to Tribu’s website some time ago. However, if I were to venture into an integration, it is visible that the multiplier effect would be relevant and desirable, if I were a brand or a business.
What is certain, clearly, is that we are entering a new phase in our lives, so it won’t take long to call this Internet 3.0, unless someone with influence decides to call it Tribal Internet or something similar, because obviously, today more than ever the world is divided into tribes. That’s right, tribes of people who share areas of interest, similar lifestyles and purposes that are stimulated by the interdependence of their generators.
The path is fascinating and the possibilities seductive. Today more than ever, I agree with those who celebrate living in a world with so many possibilities (…so many that there is no time left to sleep!?).
