With sincere congratulations to DDB Costa Rica and its creative team, led by Manuel Travisany, I include the case with which they deservedly won a Golden Lion at Cannes.
The results speak for themselves and for all their worth, from the first idea to the last execution, it is difficult to think of a work so deserving of the recognition received.
After not existing in the world panorama at Cannes Lions, in 2008, Costa Rica was honored with 4 lions from JWT, and in 2009 this agency repeated with a bronze and DDB appeared with no less than two more in gold and silver.
The country is going through a great creative moment, the competition is very clear outside our borders and for this reason, there were 8 agencies that participated this year with more than triple the number of entries of last year.
For Sunday is a new year, and in everything that touches, we will turn to work for a day to day reflection of our talent, and to achieve the pieces that confirm us as key players in Cannes. With a few years like this, it won’t take long for eyes to turn to Costa Rica as a possible source of creativity for the Spanish-speaking regions.
The return is long but the return can be huge. Let’s stay focused, let’s keep competing and let’s keep applauding the winners.
