I’ve been a fan of Lynette Chiang since she came to Costa Rica many years ago and was Creative Director of our agency. After her time at Tribu Saatchi Saatchi, she moved to Eugene, Oregon and started her work with Bike Friday, the company that handcrafts the most beautiful bendable bikes, if that’s the right term.
Her natural condition, I mean Lynette, is that of a person who lives on a perpetual journey, exploring and meeting, learning and sharing, evangelizing and promoting ideas that always make extraordinary community sense. In the video I share today, she made the experiment of entering Prada on 5th. Ave. in New York, with his Tikit folded and in his bicycling attire.
The experiment turned out to be very positive for Prada, because not only did they let her in and didn’t make any trouble with your Tikit, but they also got the benefit of Lynette’s purchase of some sexy branded sandals on promotion. In the final part of the video, it is clear that in the conversation with this person, who I have no idea who she is, an important moral can be drawn: no matter how you look, be nice to people!
Lynette lives today in New York and has left many friends around the world who love and appreciate her, as is the case with many of us in Costa Rica. I recommend you to visit her blog at https://www.galfromdownunder.com/. She made us victims of her evangelization some time ago with a pair of Tikits, the bike that folds and packs in less time. All in all, the look is the least of it. Be nice to people!
