We started talking since April and finally today we are officially DDB. As a Christmas present and precisely on vacations, now DDB in Costa Rica will have five letters in front of us: Tribu.
Encouraged by this new stage in our lives, I think it would be crazy to be called Tribu and not be a real tribe. It would make no sense to become DDB and not be DDB to its fullest extent, with all its potential, resources and energy. It would be a pitiful waste to add Tribu + DDB and not synergize in a big way to cause an effect of one plus one in a minimum equal to six. And for this reason, in 2010 it will be Tribu DDB in Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua and Panama as well.
I’m on year-end vacation, possibly like most people in our countries. I have delicious family days ahead of me, with plenty of time to enjoy, run, have fun and play. And yet, I can’t wait for January to come and take off on the 4th with Tribu DDB.
With many years ahead of us and new partners in every country in the region, we intend to make Tribu DDB the most influential agency in Central America. We will have some time to achieve this and then a lifetime to perpetuate it. Fascinating adventure and exciting challenge.
The future is coming. The key is to get there first.
