Little can be added to a week in which I enjoyed Tribu winning the first Grand Effie in Costa Rica on a Thursday, successfully organizing an Ignite on Saturday at Jazz Café Escazú and then seeing it win a gold on Monday, another on Tuesday and one more on Wednesday at the Ojo de Iberoamérica in Buenos Aires.
The week has been intense and these events are only the highlights of the intense work of a company like Tribu DDB, both in Costa Rica and in every country in Central America. The Osa Campaign took home the Grand Effie and Seis Mil Colores closed its tour of the year with Gold honors in Buenos Aires. At the same time, Puppy en Radio for Protecto won Gold at the Ojo de Iberoamérica, which was denied by Pregonero in San José.
It was also a good week for DDB Latina, as the network placed second in the Ojo de Iberoamérica. Of course, no one is happy to be left behind the first, and for this reason, in 2011 we can anticipate a fierce fight to consolidate its position as the best network in Latin America. There is plenty of talent and the organization is all over the continent, so we can already start the work.
An award is a recognition that is received with gratitude. It is also an applause for the work of many passionate people who deliver more than what is expected of them, for the simple reason that we are not here to go unnoticed. We are determined to be the most influential group in Central America, and we are working every day to be so.
Also, this week The Openhouse Project had a successful event on Sunday, and on Mondays we started the series “An Unexpected Christmas” at Artecine Lindora. The intensity of life is just a reflection of health and commitment, focused on making a contribution to make our world a little better.
Indeed, there is little to add but much to be thankful for. To what we have experienced this week, thank you all, thank you for the effort in every extra mile, thank you for the passion, thank you for the spirit, the grit, the friendship and the joy with which everything is achieved. Thanks to heaven, thanks and more thanks to all.
