In a few hours the Film, Film Craft, Effectiveness, Integrated and Titanium awards will be over, as well as the awards for Production Company of the Year, Client of the Year, Network and Agency of the Year, both network and independent. And as has always been the case, it will be a grand finale full of fantastic commercials.
I don’t know any of the results, but I can think that Force will be taking home a lot of Lions today. If I were a jury, I would give it the Grand Prix in Film and applaud loudly, after it has been seen more than 45 million times virally all over the world. What a wonderful idea, production, performance…! It is the big favorite.

There will always be surprises and for this you only have to wait for the list of winners. However, among the finalists you will find ideas that stand out even if they didn’t cost much to produce.

Hopefully Playstation will advance to metal and allow us to enjoy this production at the Palais, because it could win recognition for its wonderful music, as well as for all its condition. It is by Pablo del Campo, Maxi Itzkoff and Mariano Serkin.

Today, ideas with high content and share value, those that we all like to share, are advancing. In fact, it just happened to me. While I was looking for the code to include the Really commercial, I couldn’t help but post it on my wall. I see it as a strong candidate for a Silver Lion or more.

Out of thousands of commercials and entries in the categories being awarded tonight, one however is truly significant and is among the finalists of Integrated and Titanium. Not only because it is a work of DDB Colombia, dear and admired friends, but also because of the genius of its proposal, as well as for the extraordinary cause it defends: freedom.

As waste material, one ends the week at the Festival virtually exhausted. The pressure is great when competing, and the program is intense when attending. The time change affects and everything adds up to close always exhausted. The truth is that it is the most inspiring week of the year in creativity, the most competitive and exciting.
Costa Rica again had a great participation with 60 entries from 9 agencies, of which 12 from 4 agencies became finalists. The only Lion of the year went to our agency, Tribu DDB, although it is really an award for all the creatives in the country.
