El Ojo de Iberoamérica is the most important non Anglo-Saxon festival in the world, with more than 5,500 creative pieces competing in 2011 and with a relevance recognized worldwide. Today Tribu DDB has 14 finalists, just a few hours before the final awards ceremony begins.
Tribu’s contributions come from Costa Rica (10), Panama (3) and Guatemala (1), so we are among the agencies that contribute the most to the DDB Latin network. We have gone from non-existent about five years ago, to present in the creative landscape of the region, thanks to the sum of a complex variety of factors, where creative talent has been, is and will always be the main one.
It should be noted that Tribu DDB Panama has its first finalists in a regional festival, and for this, they deserve a special congratulations. So to Manuel Bordé, General Creative Director, as well as to our partner and president in Panama, Vivian Fernández de Torrijos, as well as to everyone at Tribu DDB Panama, a standing ovation! As we were looking for from all the Tribu agencies in the region, they have entered the stage with two finalists in the Ojo de Iberoamérica. Very good!
At Tribu DDB we encourage creative talent that serves our clients’ brands. To the extent that our teams are exercised in the difficult art of innovation, daring and breaking the conventional, our clients’ brands receive more and better. The return is simple, although many fail to see it.
Creativity sells, delivers results and is reserved for those who take the plunge. Here is a video with some of the Ojo 2010:
We expect good news from the next Ojo de Iberoamérica. Also from the Effie in Costa Rica, which will be awarded next Thursday.
