We have started a new adventure and today we are heading to the new facilities for Bosz Digital. Far from being a walk in the park, or a demonstration of strength, power or courage, it is simply another debt. That is, totally out of our comfort zone.
Comfort zone? Small detail: in Google it generates more than 25 million results. One of the definitions is this: The comfort zone is a state of mind where we are comfortable with our current life, with our aspirations covered and without pressure. Therefore, in a word, I process it as danger.
Danger in the comfort zone? This one alone takes you to over half a million results on Google, though they point even more finely to the point of this post. If you find yourself comfortable, if you are very comfortable, if things come and go meekly as on a sleepy afternoon to the chirping of birds, you are possibly in danger.
Check out what Judith Bardwick has to say about this, as her publications have generated controversy for years. What I can tell you is that we are not yet ready for comfort, so we step up, take measured risks and the rest of the time we focus on delivering results, adding value and making things happen. Not without gritting our teeth when we start moments like the current one.
With close to 300 talented young geeks at Bosz Digital, we push again and push hard towards our own site. We’ll have years ahead of us to get out of the hump, :-), but this is better than staying where we were without doing more. What got us here is not going to get us there.
