It’s 5:22 in the morning. I came to the kitchen hungry, thinking about putting some energy into my body before my workout. At 6:00 AM I go for 30 minutes of jogging and then 60 more in the gym with weights. The more the years go by, the more you have to put in.
Well, I’ve had about four servings of Raisin Bran for about five servings of milk. How long? I’m out of cereal and there’s still milk left. I’m out of milk and still have cereal. I tie and untie, one after the other and I can’t get to the end point. It’s so hard!
Incidentally, cereal has always been an integral part of my life, and especially Kellogg’s. However, it doesn’t pack the same punch in the belly as a good pinto and eggs. Perhaps this is why you eat more of it! Anyway, since I’m not even remotely an expert in nutrition, you’d better go to Larisa Paez’s new blog, where there are Weight Reasons.
I’m still in a dilemma: Should I add more milk? Should I add a little more Raisin Bran, with those delicious raisins included? Should I continue or should I stay here, put on my sneakers and go for a run? Whatever adds energy, vitality and health. Anything but adding belly and more fat to a body that should reflect your character, your wood, the metal you are made of.
Anyway, here I leave you. This has been a dilemma of life, today in the wee hours of the morning, between milk and cereal, while birds twitter and chirp in the dawn of day.
