Today I walked into a meeting at Comunicación Corporativa / Ketchum and found 5 Volcanes at the reception desk. That’s right, not one, not two, not three but five awards collected at last Saturday’s Volcano Festival. This is the case that even generated the Volcano for the best work of the festival:
First of all, congratulations! As is appropriate when one joins an association, Comunicación Corporativa joined Comunidad three years ago, entered to participate, to collaborate and to compete. As a public relations agency, it entered unknown territory, explored it, learned and became a protagonist.
The good news is that it has come to legitimize a reality: the Ascap of before is the great Comunidad of today. Before the opening of the association, which only allowed advertising agencies, the participation of all the live actors of commercial communication was limited. After the opening, public relations agencies, digital, media centers, promotions and communication in general can integrate, and thus demonstrate that we can all build together a creative cluster of immense potential in Costa Rica.
The Volcanoes of Corporate Communication are in themselves an invitation to all communication companies. Both to join the Community, to participate and compete, as well as to join the creative movement that is opening so many opportunities in our country. The Volcanoes that are today in a public relations agency are a huge and very happy sign of evolution and growth.
To Carmen Fallas, Edgar Mata and everyone at Comunicación Corporativa, my admiration and respect. In particular, Carmen joined the board of Comunidad and is now its Vice-President. Last year she took the time and made the investment to go to Cannes, which meant an influence that is visible today. The team at CC got hooked and here is the result. Cheers!
