Can you imagine that Christmas? Among many other factors, it was a couple waiting far from home. There were shepherds with sheep, donkeys, camels and “wise men” on the way, as well as a baby who would come to change the world and influence it to this day. There was Caesar, the Roman occupation and hundreds of years of waiting for the Jewish people. I invite you to the Openhouse at Christmas!
It was certainly a complicated Christmas, although from a personal perspective, perhaps next Christmas could be as well. It is a time full of encouragement and opportunity, including what could mean a new connection with God.
