A few days ago I explained that Bosz Digital is not and does not look like a call center. For those who do not know, it is difficult to understand what is digital production, programming, writing code and publishing in the whole world. So when I came across this video on Bosz Digital’s Facebook wall, it seemed like a cherry on the cake.

What they don’t teach in schools, is what has brought more success faster and to more people than ever in history (although I insist that there are no shortcuts!). For this reason, I take this opportunity to celebrate, applaud and honor all those who program and write code in our country, and particularly, those who do it in Bosz Digital, a company that grew from 10 people to more than 400 in just 3 years.
In its new building called Tribute, Bosz is located right next to the Panamerican School. And I wonder: would it happen to your kids what the video relates in its first scenes? Possibly yes, and for this reason, this is an excellent production by code.org that calls our attention and puts our finger on a button to detonate urgent change in our classrooms.
A few days ago I was learning about Ukraine, and I was struck by the fact that, with less than 1% of the planet’s population (46 million), it has 6% of the world’s systems engineers. With our social capital and the remarkable advantage in education, Costa Rica could be a power in generating talent in this branch, which today is root, trunk, fruit and endless forest.
