About 12 years ago I got to know Ingo Maurer, a creative, innovative and groundbreaking German designer of… lamps! And then, so in the very first line I would deserve a slap for ignorance, because Ingo is a brilliant architect of light, an exquisite illuminator and among many of his creations, the master who brought us Birds, or as I like to call them affectionately: angels of light.
From the main chandelier to the table or wall pieces, Ingo took the wing theme and applied it to light. The result is a happy contribution to the imagination and to those who wish to seek to find. Everything mankind has made in its history has been created by someone. From the church to buildings, from soccer to the wheel, and everything has the potential to be improved, surpassed, reinvented. So why not reinvent lighting and its main tool: lamps?
