I am convinced that each one of us can contribute to making the world a better place, even at the risk of sounding cliché. We can do it in our homes, in the community we live in, in the country we live in or wherever we want. It is up to you, it is up to me, it is up to us to make that contribution a reality.
For this reason, when in February 2012 I heard the idea of working in a country project, I signed up and decided to join what is today a citizen, multiparty and multisectoral movement. From day one, Via Costarricense has been proposing more ideas to help bring Costa Rica back on track and propose to reinvent it with ideas capable of making a legitimate transformation.
In this short video you can learn about the essence of the idea in which more and more Costa Ricans are working every day, convinced that we do not need to be in politics to make a valuable contribution.
Thus, the work we have done fills us with enthusiasm and we are confident that it can be of positive influence to improve things. This is the second report presented last week, with initiatives to move forward.
Creativity is the spark that ignites innovation, and for this reason, we refuse the idea of continuing to seek different results by doing more of the same. Wherever we can, it is key to focus on making our innovative contribution, be it big or small, as I said at the beginning, whether in the intimate nucleus of your family or even in the planet we live on. It is your choice.
Of course, the reactions will not be long in coming, and this post will probably generate all kinds of comments, points of view and contributions. That’s a good thing. However, hopefully we can agree that it is time to move from talking to doing, from criticizing to proposing, from observing to participating. The country needs us.
To close for today, perhaps we can agree on one more idea: whoever brings a problem and does not propose a solution, is part of the problem.
Greetings!
