In Costa Rica there are only 8 couples left competing to be the representatives of Costa Rica in the Young Lions sponsored by La Nación, Print category, in the next Festival. Their names are, in no particular order:

Eduardo Alfaro Umaña and Carlos Redondo Gómez

Irene Jiménez Casasnovas and Federico Nieto Alfaro
Jonathan Rodríguez Moya and Andrés Porras González
Josué Alvarado Ortega and José Andrés Antillón Aguilar
Their selection was in charge of a national jury with the best of the main agencies associated to ASCAP. There were 10 slots available to compete next weekend, however, they agreed to choose the 8 pairs mentioned above and declared the two remaining slots void.
To all the Young Lions in contention, much success next weekend, as Costa Rica must be represented by the best of the country and travel to Cannes for a Lion. In the next round, the jury is international and will choose the winners by online voting.
The Young Lions in Costa Rica is sponsored by La Nación. The official representative of the Cannes International Festival in the country is ASCAP, the Costa Rican association of advertising agencies.
