At Festival Volcán, the company has been awarded with the Volcán Agency of the Year Award by the Costa Rican Association of Advertising Agencies, recognizing its work.
With extraordinary creative work for Pinturas Protecto, Credomatic, Aceite Salat, Viceocentro, Osa, Unicef and other clients, Tribu DDB has won Agency of the Year for the second consecutive year, demonstrating talent and consistency, as well as outstanding creative leadership by Pablo Chaves and Javier Mora, General Creative Directors, who added: “Our agency exceeds 100 people, and among them we highlight the work of Joaquín Brenes, Rogelio Umaña, Paula Guevara, Marcelo Furrer along with the most inspiring creative tribe we have ever had.”
The big winner of the night for Tribu was the radio campaign for Pinturas Protecto, which took the Grand Gold Volcano in the category, as well as two more golds. Tribu DDB won a significant number of Gold, Silver and Bronze Volcanoes for 32 in total, out of 50 entries that were among the finalists.
These awards were achieved for entries in print, TV, radio, interactive and others. “It has been an impressive demonstration of teamwork, passion and commitment,” said Diego Garcia, VP and General Manager of Tribu DDB, “We are also proud of the awards in interactive, where in this new and relevant category we entered with force winning two bronzes, a silver and a gold for Seis Mil Colores de Protecto in best Web design,” added Rogelio Umaña, Interactive Creative Director.
With this great award for agency of the year, repeated for the second consecutive time, Tribu DDB consolidates its position as the most creative agency in Costa Rica, a small but highly competitive market with the presence of all the major international networks present. Tribu and DDB began their partnership last January.
“I think this is the best way to say: Hello DDB! To our new partners in Central America, where we have Tribu DDB already in Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador and Panama,” said Jorge Oller, President of Tribu DDB Central America. “Bravo, bravo, bravo, bravo,” added Juan Carlos Ortiz, President of DDB Latina, who also added: “Definitely two is more than one. And to repeat speaks of talent, quality and consistency at the same time. Now let’s go for the third.
On Tribu DDB’s website, www.tribuddb.com, they say: “We want to be the most influential agency in Central America”. The new success as Agency of the Year is certainly a solid step forward in that direction.
