Starting next Monday, Tribu, Promotica, Fusion, Centropolis and the :CAMedia planners at Tribu will have a new schedule starting at 9:00 AM.
That’s right. We will start in Tribu at the civilized and first worldly time of 9 AM. It’s simple. The traffic on the highways could not be more chaotic, because of this haunted mania of a city to spend time stuffed in the streets, sweating cold at all stress to be able to move forward and arrive like everyone else, at 8. It is a disaster for an unnecessary and easily modifiable conventionalism.
The route will be done in less time, so it will be a totally different dynamic that many of us will take advantage of. There will be those who will go for an early run, me among them, spend a leisurely breakfast with the family or drop the kids off at school. Others will be able to take their English classes, trombone or karate, jazz and so much more. They will be able to have a little more time for a morning nap, to go to the gym, ballet classes, yoga, meditation, to dream and to contribute. From 6 am to 9 am, we will have time that can add to the quality of our lives.
To avoid the collapse of our valley’s roads, offices such as that of Architect Bruno Stagno have decided to get up early and start at 7 am. In an even smarter move, they will close at 4 p.m. on Fridays, allowing people to get home early to start their weekend without the torture of closing the week on crowded streets. They are early risers, we are late sleepers. The idea is to get us out of the 8 o’clock rush.
After 9 o’clock, at Tribu what follows is our RESPONSIBLE SCHEDULE, an idea that has worked wonders for years. That is to say, there is no official time for lunch, coffee or going out, because everyone contributes their official 8 hours, and often much more.
We especially invite the advertising agencies in the country, particularly our neighbors in Santa Ana and Escazú, to consider this measure for their schedules. To the companies and our clients, we invite you all to consider the possibility of making an improvement in the quality of life of your people, just by moving half an hour or an hour your entry commitment, both for earlier or later. It will help reduce the city’s traffic congestion, and give us time to live.
When necessary, meetings will be scheduled at 8 am, 7 am. It has never been different. If any early risers prefer to arrive early, they will have plenty of time to take advantage without a lot of calling and distraction. The time will be better spent than in the endless lines of carts bumper to bumper.
In early November we will review the measure, see how we feel and if all is clear skies, we will leave it firm.
Saluuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuud!!!
