There is something about the airplane, its disconnection, the altitude, the clouds and the sky that provokes thoughts and feelings that lead to ideas different from those born with feet on the ground.
Undoubtedly, as my wife reminded me last night, as we dined in the neighborhood between fine cuts and a red wine with personality with two dear friends, “when you start to see the wide Paseo Colón, it’s time to travel.”
Our setting is typical of a small town, directly related to one in a small country of people who, like most anywhere, come to think in effect that their Banco Nacional building is really tall.
Picking up the boarding pass to New York and my passport for a few more stamps these days, far from conceit and rather focused on description, I type encouraged by the chain reaction triggered inside by the adventure implicit in a trip, and even more so when it takes you far away.
For this reason, for life and for everyone, to these paragraphs dedicated to the digital forum that has entertained me so much in the last two years and more, I would like to add a simple recommendation: travel.
By plane, on the screen, walking or by train, with your imagination, your ideas, your spirit, with books or poetry, as you wish or as you choose, as often as possible: travel.
Be a traveler and not a tourist, because tourism adds little. And whatever you see in the real world, the digital or the dream world, whatever is good, whatever is exciting, whatever is inspiring, whatever is inspiring, whatever is exciting and provoking, whatever adds to our country: bring it and share it.
Yes… Travel. A lot. And then, connect. Share.
