Today begins at ArteCine Lindora the OPENHOUSE, an option for the ill-mannered like me, as it takes messages from conversational speakers from the United States, and projects them on the movie screen in an activity that does not exceed 60 minutes.
Thus, outside the context of conventional churches, which many like me, cause us some resistance, the OpenHouse is presented as an opportunity to connect with God especially designed for beginners, those who are full of doubts, those who want to return or are simply in a kind of spiritual search.
The model is simple, as it welcomes us in a small cinema with secular music in the background, opens with live music or video in a maximum of two or three songs, and then continues with a brief presentation of the message. In other words, in less than 10 to 15 minutes, we will be in front of speakers of the level of Andy Stanley, Irwin McManus, Rob Bell or Rick Warren, just to name a few, with messages in a fabulously well-planned series.
The base comes from Northpoint, a community that defines itself as a “church for non-churchers”, and offers a refreshing alternative, without pressure, respectful and especially loaded with screens, technology and relevant resources for those of us who live in these times.
Biblical Authority, however, is the mainstay of the entire proposal and therefore Jesus-centered. Nevertheless, for those who want a different, concentrated and particularly current experience, the OpenHouse is already an excellent possibility.
Every Monday at 7:15 PM at ArteCine Lindora (except Set. 29), the OpenHouse is well worth the ticket there. The site that will keep you up to date on the topics and talks is simply https://www.OpenHouse.cr.
Greetings!
