Last week we received confirmation: Costa Rica will be able to send two creative duos to compete in Film and Print next year, so we at ASCAP are jumping for joy at this sensational opportunity, which is undoubtedly a response to the work and creative performance of the country.

The Young Lions Competition is the biggest thrill in the whole world as far as Cannes is concerned, of course, immediately after winning lions in all categories. The national competition takes place in the United States as in Germany, in Brazil, Argentina, as in Japan, Australia and South Africa. From all over the world, the best creative couples in Cyber, Media, Print and Film are chosen and go to Cannes to compete against each other. It is extremely exciting and because of their level, they receive their awards on the main stage in the different awards that take place every year.

We also appreciate in advance the support offered to us by Teletica, both René Picado and Hilda Zúñiga, because by Film entering the competition in our country, more opportunities open up.

Thus, given the fact that next year we will have two categories, and there will be four creatives under 28 years old that will be able to participate, we will have the opportunity to at least double the impact in the country. From now on, in ASCAP we are preparing to start the work and the process early in the new year, and thus bring us more satisfaction on this path towards a creative Costa Rica.
