From “bien por dicha” to “con mucho gusto”, there are a thousand expressions that are said automatically. Among them there is one that is very common and that is “thank God”. In fact, it is not unusual that when it is said it loses its deep meaning and becomes a simple expression.
At the gates of a new Christmas, and as we are about to close the year 2011, with so many successes and good news, together with friends, family and loved ones, it is time to say it with all its meaning and scope. Not as a crutch or as a filler, not as a saying or a commandment, but out of total conviction and emotion, knee to the ground and sincere heart:
For absolutely everything, thank God.
